About the cattery

Cattery " Swaldiphary " is engaged in breeding of only Russian blue breed only blue colour and the purpose of existence of cattery is correct and competent selection of Russian blue cats. We want our cattery to fulfil the highest quality standards. Cats of cattery have strong breed type which is excellently transferred from generation to generation thanks to legible breeding-program according to wich the sire are selected. Cases of occurrence of yellow eyes, points or defects of a tail at animals from cattery " Swaldiphary " are excluded.

At present cattery " Swaldiphary " unique in Russia has in the livestock of representatives of the best European lines. Our cattery cultivates European type of Russian Blue breed and it is registered in WCF, FIFe. Cattery Swaldiphary regulary takes part in international cats shows, and all cats have titles and honourable awards. Cats and kittens of the cattery start to be exposed with a class of kittens and always protect honour of breed at all large international cats shows. The high level of our russian blue cats proves their constant participation in Best in show and Best of Best.

Kittens of the cattery are raised with care and love, have excellent health and the remarkable counterbalanced character. Owners of kittens, bought in cattery, are provided with the further support and consultations. We do not lose of communication with the kittens and their owners!

Our cattery was officially founded on october, 2000. But I have bought the first Russian blue female Nuksi Gabriel Pet in 1999 and since then this breed of cats has made revolution in my soul and began the most beautiful and favourite. In the beginning of 2000 year from known Petersburg cattery the male Egor Vajt Medzhik of the Scandinavian lines FIFe has been brought.

The summer of 2000 year had been bought female Mona Blue River from an imported male from Holland English lines Blue Velvet's Wassili. From Egor White Medzik and Mona Blue River for the further breeding in cattery Swaldiphary Tillura is kept

Later the daughter of Dutch Gr. I.Ch. Icaros van Locust Valley- Dafna Arvest, and two females from known sir Eur. Ch. Nikolai Rimski Sjoeskavetsj, which names Swaldiphary Valkyrie and Swaldiphary Rhapsody of Spring are kept. Both females have fine pedigree type and always are favourably allocated at cats shows and noticed by judges.

Further I for a long time searched for the male - sir with the necessary blood lines.

After long searches, in our cattery come the male from Holland in April 2005 . Male Ljutomir Hilgvars Dunoe expresses itself English type of Russian blue breed.

 I has become interested in the American standard and type of Russian blue in the end of 2005. American Russian blue have drawn attention huge emerald eyes, flat lines of a head, large ears and a tremendous light silvery coat. And according to my new vision ideal of Russian blue, the spring of 2006 in the Polish cattery Blue Eminenece*PL had been got male Indigo with whom the new stage in our catetery existence has begun.  

                                                                                                                                                     

The Indigo Blue Eminenece*PL has justified all hopes, behind his back and victories in monopedigree shows and victories at the European and American shows , closing of a title of the European champion and the higher TICA title -Supreme Champion                                                                                                                                                                 

The male has transferred the magnificent coat and a beautiful head to the son who is a fruit of old friendship and cooperation with cattery Sunna Nordica, Sunna Nordica Alil of Swaldiphary which can continue line of the father in our cattery. In pair to Sunna Nordica Alil of Swaldiphary the female of bright American type from friendly Swiss cattery Ruskis Hight Light of Swaldiphary was bought.They are only the first remarkable Russian blue the American type in our cattery,

 

At the given stage of the development cattery " Swaldiphary " has at the order enough of fine representatives of breed of different blood lines with an excellent origin and pedigree characteristics competently to build the further breeding-program in view of perfection of modern pedigree type and avoidance of excessive closely related crossings. Yes, Russian blue breed - difficult breed for selection and it not for the newbies in selection. Here it is necessary to find the strategy and tactics of breeding, it is necessary to work only with the best pedigree lines loose from defects, preliminary having studied their advantage and lack and that is important in breeding work their compatibility. In cattery " Swaldiphary " correct strategy of cultivation which already brings the first successes is found and gives hope that Russian blue breed even diligence of one cattery can become even better, than it is.
